Psychodynamic Therapy

This is a six-session course of treatment for clients with mild to moderately severe depression, low self esteem, bereavement, or relationship difficulties. The counselling intervention is process-oriented and clients need to demonstrate a willingness to explore the impact of their personal history. This type of therapy is appropriate for clients whose day-to-day functioning is either not impaired or is moderately impaired as a result of the problem. This type of therapy is not appropriate for people with diagnoses of social phobia, post-traumatic stress disorder, or obsessive-compulsive disorde
